Manchester-based regeneration company, Urban Splash, completed deals on 87,000 sq ft of space across its nationwide commercial portfolio in 2024, capping off the year with several new deals.

Among the Q4 deals were more than 2,000 sq ft at the Boat Shed in Salford Quays, where occupiers such as Holden Knights and the Liberal Democrats secured space.

In Liverpool, the company completed a 3,511 sq ft lease renewal with Bluprint Global at the Tea Factory.

Other highlights from the year include nearly 10,000 sq ft of deals completed in May alone, as well as the renewal of a significant letting to Amey at Matchworks in South Liverpool in June.

Later in the summer, TikTok brand Made by Mitchell completed a deal on Giants Basin in Manchester in just four days.

Reflecting on the year, Head of Commercial Property at Urban Splash, Emma Gardiner, said: “Our focus has always been on providing flexible, well designed workspaces that meet the evolving needs of businesses.

“It’s great to see that approach paying off with such strong lettings and retained customers throughout 2024 and I’m really proud of what our team has achieved.”

Urban Splash also remains committed to long term regeneration, reinvesting in its commercial portfolio to enhance quality and appeal.

Significant investments last year included six-figure upgrades to Waulk Mill in Manchester’s Ancoats and the Vanilla Factory in Liverpool’s Ropewalks.
