Cheadle-based property lender, Together, has appointed industry specialist, Andrea Roberts, as national account manager in its Networks and Clubs Team.

Andrea brings with her 30 years’ experience, having held account manager and business development manager positions for Hodge Bank and Principality Building Society.

Andrea said: “Education is something I am passionate about, and I wholeheartedly believe it is the key to success.

“My key goal is to educate members, equipping them with the knowledge of Together’s specialist lending products and the solutions we can provide for their clients, and offer guidance and support to ensure good customer outcomes.”

Lauren Hudson

Event venue, Manchester Central, has promoted Lauren Hudson to head of sustainability and impact, reinforcing the venue’s commitment to embedding environmental and impact-led strategies at the heart of its operations.

Having joined the venue in 2014, she has a long standing record as the venue’s sustainability lead, most recently as sustainability and safety advisor.

In her expanded role, reporting directly to CEO Lori Hoinkes, Hudson will oversee the venue’s broader sustainability strategy, leading on initiatives to enhance Manchester Central’s direct environmental, economic and social contributions, as well as supporting event organisers to drive the positive impact of their events in Manchester.

Lori Hoinkes said: “Her leadership and passion for sustainability will be instrumental in shaping the future of Manchester Central, and the wider impact we have on the region.”

Lauren said: “I’m incredibly honoured to lead on sustainability and impact on behalf of the venue. At Manchester Central, we are continuously developing our carbon management plan and net zero strategy, but our commitments go beyond just environmental goals.

Natalie Poundall

Archaeological and built heritage experts, Civic Heritage, has strengthened its team with the appointment of Natalie Poundall as archaeological consultant in Manchester.

Natalie has more than three years’ experience in archaeology and heritage consultancy and joins from Salford Archaeology, where she specialised in historic environment, environmental impact and archaeological desk-based assessments for a diverse range of sites across the UK.

In her new role, Natalie will conduct a variety of archaeological and heritage assessments to advise clients, enabling them to meet planning obligations concerning the historic environment. This will help Civic Heritage continue its growth across the UK and Ireland, ensuring projects progress smoothly and effectively.

Active International, the global corporate trade company, has appointed experienced media professional, Dave Newton, as its first head of agency partnerships – North & Scotland.

Newton joins from 10 years at Future where, based in Manchester, he worked as business director. He will travel with his new role but will continue to be based in Manchester.

Newton’s media career spans more than 20 years and has included roles with leading media owners and media agencies, allowing him a wealth of experience and a 360 degree view of the industry.

Cheshire property consultancy, Legat Owen, has appointed Gareth Joyce as senior development surveyor to support the growth of the Residential Development team.

Gareth arrives with a wealth of experience in the development sector, having worked on a varied portfolio of development and regeneration projects with Denbighshire County Council, Turner & Townsend, Northwest Regional Development Agency and Cheshire West and Chester Council.

The Residential Development team deals with significant development land sales, valuations and development consultancy for clients ranging from major PLCs to landowners and niche developers.

Will Rees, director at Legat Owen, said: “Gareth is a fantastic addition to our growing Residential Development team and brings with him a varied professional background having worked on some significant North West and North Wales regeneration projects.”

The Residential Sales team is also growing with the addition of Kate Foxton. Kate has been a familiar face to many visitors to the Chester office over the past few years where she has held the position of receptionist.

Kate has now transitioned to a residential sales role.

Legat Owen established a Residential Sales division two years ago, headed up by Hannah Baker.

The business is also excited to welcome Brooke Cummins, who will take on the role of receptionist at the Cheser office, succeeding Kate. Brooke.
