Schweiger brothers open up about life after Character World

The Bold and Brave - LIVE with Mark and Danny Schweiger

Danny and Mark Schweiger, the brothers at the helm – until 2023 – of Cheadle-based Character World stunned guests at law firm Kuits with reflections and insights from their time in business and their current plans.

While the brothers have different non-executive roles, including working on cycling business The Bike Fitters Ltd together, they have also made remarkable career turns with individual projects deeply personal to them both.

Danny is now coaching CEOs from major companies and advising them on managing their lives better and avoiding burnout.

Mark told the audience at the packed theatre in Blackfriars House that he has embarked on a project to promote interfaith dialogue, his reaction to the trauma many in the Jewish community felt after the Hamas attacks on the 7th of October 2023.

His project, working with Rabbi Dovid Lewis and Imam Nasser Kurdy, aims to show young people of all faiths that unity is possible. Together they have already shared this message with nearly 5,000 primary and secondary students across Greater Manchester.

The next Bold and the Brave LIVE event on the 10th of June will feature TheBusinessDesk.com editor Michael Taylor in conversation with tech champion Naomi Timperley, who was this week featured on a BBC Panorama documentary about her stalking ordeal.

The investigation, led by Matt O’Donoghue and Darragh McIntyre, is now available on the BBC iPlayer, told how social media consultant Samantha Wall targeted Naomi and several other business people and falsely accused them of crimes ranging from slashing her tyres to killing her cat.

Last night’s event sold out almost immediately, so don’t delay, book early to avoid disappointment.
