Global fashion retailer expands its offer at Trafford Centre with three brands

Global fashion retail group, Inditex, will relocate and upsize its Zara and Pull&Bear stores at Trafford Centre, with Bershka joining the centre for the first time.
Opening at the end of summer 2025, the three new stores will separately occupy flagship stores on Peel Avenue.
Establishing its roots in Spain, Inditex is now operating in more than 214 markets worldwide through its eight brands.
Inditex’s investment in increasing its footprint and bringing new brands demonstrates the global appeal of the Trafford Centre, it said.
The expansion of Zara and Pull&Bear and the launch of Bershka’s new store will provide a better shopping experience by bringing larger improved stores and a new brand.
This major leasing deal with Inditex marks a pivotal moment for Trafford Centre as it approaches four years since Pradera Lateral was appointed asset manager, in which time the centre has seen more than 230 leasing deals and in excess of £120m in new store development.
Brands such as Sephora, Lululemon, Gymshark, Lego, Rolex and Cartier, among a few of the names that are part of this rapid growth.
The Trafford Centre enjoyed a successful 2024, with footfall rising by 10.3% compared with 2023, nearly 23 million consumers visiting the centre and every quarter seeing footfall growth.
Additionally, sales were up 8.6% on 2023, showcasing how, despite a challenging economic climate, the centre continues to secure a large share of spend from its visitors.
Marcus Briggs, managing director, and head of leasing at Pradera Lateral, said: “We have had a great partnership with Inditex over the years, and this exciting new deal highlights our wider commitment to support retailer growth and improve the customer experience.
“The introduction of these globally significant stores for Bershka, Pull&Bear and Zara will strengthen this relationship further and provide an unrivalled fashion offer for our growing number of Trafford Centre visitors.”
