Car retailer revs up for growth after securing six-figure bank investment

A growing Manchester car retailer, Awesome GTI, has secured six-figure HSBC UK funding to accelerate its operations and strengthen its market position.

The retailer, based in Irlam, has used a £580,000 funding package to purchase the 10,000 sq ft facility next to its current site.

The newly-acquired premises, also home to Awesome GTI’s store floor, Vagbremtechnic and Performance M, was previously leased to the business.

Now, under full ownership, the facility will undergo a complete fit-out to increase operational capabilities and secure the long term future of all three businesses.  

HSBC UK funding will also support Awesome GTI’s growth ambitions, safeguard all job roles and help increase turnover by £600,000 the next financial year.

Established in 1989, Awesome GTI currently has 24 staff. It boasts a specialist workshop and showroom aimed at supplying customers with performance parts and tuning services.
