Developer triumphs in ‘David v Goliath’ Liverpool Waters court battle with Peel
Developer, Romal Capital, has won its ‘David v Goliath’ legal case against property giant Peel Group and could be awarded up to £10m.
Romal began its action against Peel in May this year in a High Court battle over an alleged breach of contract for land at Liverpool Waters.
Romal claimed Peel’s actions, specifically its planning applications, made it more difficult to get permission for its development plans and harmed profits.
Peel denied any wrongdoing.
