Student tower among three blocks planned for Manchester city centre car park site
A 38-storey tower block and two smaller accommodation buildings are proposed for the site of a former Manchester city centre car park.
RG Real Estate, ID Manchester and the University of Manchester have submitted plans to Manchester City Council for the Charles Street site between Oxford Road and Piccadilly railway station.
The scheme would provide studio flats and cluster flats, where bedrooms are arranged around communal areas, for more than 1,000 students.
