Growth Awards 2027: Finance Team of the Year
Our newly-launched Growth Awards for 2027 will celebrate the finance team or deal team behind a transaction, capital raise, or financial strategy that directly enabled a period of exceptional business growth.
We’re looking for the team that thought ambitiously, led strategically, and delivered. The team whose work changed the trajectory of the business.
Judges will want to know:
What was the financial challenge or opportunity the team faced?
How did the team’s decisions directly enable growth — in revenue, headcount, market position or
capability?
Where did the plan change, and how did the team adapt?
This category is open to in-house finance teams and blended teams including external advisers, provided the entry describes the team’s collective contribution rather than any single firm’s role.

category is one of 12 awards in the new North West Growth Awards, which celebrate the companies, teams and individuals driving business growth across the region.
The awards span three strands – Company, Team and Individual – with categories recognising everything from international expansion to finance, technology, people and board excellence.
An overall Growth Business of the Year will be chosen from the category winners.
