Hemmings family in talks to sell Preston North End
The owners of Preston North End football club are in active talks to sell the Championship club.
In a statement issued prior to Saturday’s opening day loss to Bolton Wanderers, chairman Ian Penrose said a number of “initial tentative approaches” had been received since he kicked off a sale process in late 2025.
“I can confirm that we are in negotiations with parties who have made offers to buy PNE on terms that are acceptable to the Hemmings family.
