Does your company’s board deserve recognition? Enter our Growth Awards 2027
TheBusinessDesk.com’s new Growth Awards 2027 include a category celebrating the best company boards, those that provided the strategic direction and leadership that enabled a defined period of significant growth.
We’re looking for boards that made the decisions that mattered, asked the right questions at the right time, and gave the business the clarity and confidence to move forward.
Entries should tell us:
What was the strategic context the board was operating in?
What were the most significant decisions the board made, and why?
How did the board’s leadership directly shape the growth the business achieved?
What did good governance make possible that wouldn’t have happened otherwise?
Open to any board with a regional presence. Entries may be submitted by the board, the CEO, or a nominated representative.

The Board of the Year category is one of 12 awards in the new North West Growth Awards, which celebrate the companies, teams and individuals driving business growth across the region.
The awards span three strands – Company, Team and Individual – with categories recognising everything from finance, technology, people and board excellence.
An overall Growth Business of the Year will be chosen from the category winners.
