Britain’s ‘worst hotel chain’ sees annual sales and profits decline in its latest filing
Annual sales and profits both declined at Altrincham-based hotels group, Britannia Hotels, often voted the worst hotel chain in the country.
During the year to March 31, 2025, turnover fell from £162.462m in 2024 to £160.752m, while pre-tax profits declined from £31.320m to £27.208m.
Total staffing numbers during the year were 2,451, compared with 2,452 the previous year.
The group owns a string of hotels around the UK, including the Britannia and Sachas in Manchester and the Adelphi in Liverpool.
