Manchester to host G20 Summit of world leaders at 2027
Manchester is to host the G20 summit of world leaders in November 2027.
UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham, the former mayor of Greater Manchester, will invite leaders including Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, China's Xi Jinping and Argentina's Javier Milei.
Burnham will meet many of his fellow world leaders today for his first major outing as prime minister at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
This year’s G20 will be held at the Trump National Doral Miami golf resort in December.
