Vernon Building Society opens branch in Uppermill as part of rollout plans
Vernon Building Society has opened a community branch in Uppermill as part of an expansion plan targeting all Greater Manchester boroughs.
The Stockport-based mutual opened the branch at 92–94 High Street in November, sharing space with Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers and Albion House Wealth Management.
The opening comes as Uppermill has been without a bank since NatWest closed its High Street branch in 2016.
