I let the attendees at this session at Rathbones in on a secret. Sometimes I tweak our daily news list so it's not a relentless drip drip of bad news about administrations, frauds, job cuts and closures, but a balanced view of how things are out there. That has to include good news as well as bad, because that's the reality.
But sitting with a roomful of entrepreneurs, it was impossible to ignore one thing: it is brutally hard to run a business right now.
