Shipping group with NW route welcomes vessel capable of carrying 5,500 cars
A Spanish shipping group which operates a weekly service to Merseyside, has expanded its automotive shipping capacity with the departure from China of RS Atlantico, the first of a new generation of dual-fuel PCTC (Pure Car and Truck Carrier) vessels joining its fleet.
The ship has capacity for approximately 5,500 cars and its entry into service will strengthen Madrid-based Suardiaz Group’s operational capacity in the maritime transport of vehicles and rolling cargo.
A second vessel will join the fleet in mid-2027.
