Greater Manchester Mayor pledges £6m to secure music industry’s future
Greater Manchester's Mayor Bev Craig has pledged £6m to support the music industry, combining a new £2m investment in rehearsal and production space with £4m from the Combined Authority's Culture Fund announced earlier this month.
The funding will support projects ranging from grassroots venues like the Snug in Atherton to established institutions including the Hallé Orchestra.
