Agreement forms strategic collaboration to accelerate global fusion commercialisation
Amentum, the engineering and nuclear specialist, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kyoto Fusioneering (KF), a developer of engineering systems and technologies essential to commercial fusion power plants.
US-based Amentum employs more than 2,500 people in Cumbria, Warrington, Knutsford and Manchester.
The MoU establishes a strategic framework for international cooperation across the UK, Japan and the US, strengthening both organisations’ roles in advancing fusion energy commercialisation.
