LIVERPOOL creative agency Uniform is celebrating its work on Europe’s largest shopping centre, which opens today.

The agency has been working with property developer Westfield, to communicate the size and scale of the 180 acre Westfield Stratford City development.

Uniform was commissioned to create 18 images for commercial and marketing purposes. Similarly to the agency’s work for Sellar’s ‘Shard’ – Europe’s tallest building – Uniform’s role was to stimulate pre-launch buzz and excitement around the development as Westfield looked to secure tenants, and generate PR.

Nick Bentley, director at Uniform, said: “As far as landmark projects are concerned they don’t get much bigger. The Olympics is the biggest sporting event in the world and it was an honour to be involved in this high profile development. We hope to work with Westfield on some of their other major projects.“

The project, on the edge of London 2012 Olympic Park in the east end of London, includes 1.9m sq ft of retail space and 300 shops. It also includes the Olympic venues.

More than 10 million visitors are expected to visit the Olympics, with 70% passing through Stratford City to reach any given venue.

MANCHESTER’s Tangerine PR has appointed a further three account executives to its B2B team. The team has also promoted existing team members, Kate Dixon and Claire Gamble, to deputy MD of B2B and junior account manager respectively.

The B2B team has grown rapidly since its foundation just under two years ago, with the headcount now standing at 11. The latest appointments follow a number of significant new account wins for the specialist team including law firm DWF and MTS Medication Technologies.

New account executives, Barry Maginn, Nahuel Berger-North and Kirsty Ullah, will work across a range of new and existing clients, including high profile brands such as Dulux Trade and Interface FLOR.

Kate Dixon said: “It’s a very exciting time for us at the moment, with a number of great client wins over the last couple of months, demonstrating that Tangerine has well and truly established itself as an agency with a top quality B2B offering.”
