Merseyside manufacturer in administration

A NORTH West manufactuer of structural steel products and industrial ovens has been placed into administration.

Metalbuild, based at Knowsley, Merseyside, employs 35 people and has a turnover of £1.85m.

The company designs, manufactures and installs structural steelwork; including the manufacture of industrial ovens for the glass, automotive and food sectors.

Metalbuild also provides services including civil engineering, labour hire, maintenance contract work, factory relocations, machining and breakdown services.

Administrators KPMG says there have been no redundancies as a result of the administration.

Joint administrator Paul Flint said interested parties should contact KPMG as soon as possible, adding: “We are continuing to trade the business in the short term to facilitate a going concern sale.”
