Forrest gets ready for growth with new MD

SOCIAL housing services group Forrest has made three senior appointments to its board.

Mark Lyons has been appointed as managing director of the Preston headquartered company. He was previously group construction director of Bardsley Construction and managing director of The Livesey Group.

Dave Banton also joins from Bardsley as commercial director, while Phil Askin, whose experience includes senior operational and commercial roles at Rok and Wates Construction, has been appointed regional director for the group’s Eastern division, covering the North East and Yorkshire.

Forrest, which recently reported revenue growth to almost £50m, said the appointments would help the firm roll out its growth strategy.

Lee McCarren, chief executive officer, said: “Strengthening our team with high calibre individuals is critical to the successful delivery of our growth plan.

“Mark, David and Phil bring significant experience and value to our senior management team as we expand our services and territories.”

Forrest, which is backed by private equity firm LDC, refurbishes and maintains more than 18,000 homes a year for its clients.
