EMS wins contracts worth £1m since new year

CHESHIRE marketing business Event Marketing Solutions has secured seven new contracts worth £1m since the start of 2010.

The business, based in Ellesmere Port, specialises in mobile marketing campaigns.

It now intends recruit three new account executives and make four internal promotions to cope with the growth.

Two of the new contracts will see EMS partner with other marketing agencies to deliver employee engagement campaigns for major corporate brands. 

The campaigns will use hi-tech mobile units to reach employees in the UK, Europe and the USA.

Other new business includes new healthcare and social marketing campaigns and a European business roadshow.

Managing director Keith Austin said: “I am delighted to report such a fantastic start to 2010. 

“We delivered good results last year, despite the tough economic climate, but there has been a noticeable spike in demand since January – putting us on course for a great year.

“We are seeing a return of confidence to the market, and growing recognition of the strong return on investment that mobile face-to-face communication can deliver.

“In response, we are expanding and investing in our team ready to capitalise on these and future opportunities.”
