EV scales new heights with Pinnacle move

VENTURE capital company EV has doubled the size of its Manchester office following its relocation to The Pinnacle building on King St.

The company, which runs the Venture Capital element of the North West fund, said the move was a response to the fact that over the past 12 months it had almost doubled the amount of funds under its management to £130m. It now employs more than 35 people across its network of offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Preston, Birmingham and Leeds.

Group chief executive Jonathan Diggines said: “As our funds have increased, so has the headcount.

“We have been bursting at the seams recently, so it will be great to work from a bigger location.”

EV has taken over the sixth floor of the Pinnacle building, which comprises 2,640 sq ft and was previously occupied by law firm McGrigors, which has since moved to Allied London’s One The Avenue building at Spinningfields. Will Lewis of OBI Property acted on behalf of McGrigors.
