Paver Smith enjoys PR growth

NORTH West PR agency Paver Smith has reported an increase in first quarter revenue.
Turnover was up 9% to £620,000 in the three months to the end of March.
The business, which has its headquarters in Liverpool, was helped by new contract wins.
Work worth a total of £476,000 over the year was won from companies including Slazenger Heritage, Oddfellows and Sanguine Hospitality Management.
Finance director Martyn Best said: “It’s still tough out there and we’re scrapping hard, but our focus on people development is feeding through in enhanced performance.
“Our Manchester office, which we opened during 2009, is beginning to make a strong contribution to growth, with major clients such as Oddfellows coming on board.”
The company, which employs 38 staff, turned over £2.4m in 2009. It is predicting growth of 4% this year, pushing revenue to £2.5m by December.
