PR duo go it alone with HatTrick

SOUTH Manchester-based communications consultants Karen Adams and Malin Cunningham have teamed up to launch PR and social media agency HatTrick PR.   
 
Based in Sale, South Manchester, HatTrick is already working for flooring brand Desso, Cheadle financial planning firm Retirement Solutions and the Motorhead Shiraz wine brand.

Prior to forging out on their own the pair were with Manchester-based Tangerine PR, with Malin Cunningham a board director and Karen Adams an associate director.

Karen Adams said: “We have both been fortunate enough to work in senior positions in the PR industry for many years and are used to not only offering strategic advice and delivering great results for clients, but also running a business.
 
“We’ve spent the past few months serving our own clients, but have always worked very well together so this was the natural next step. We are now looking to take on new members of staff and move the business forward.”
 
HatTrick will target the business-to-business and trade sectors and also offering PR, social media and events services.

Another USP will be an ability to partner with communications consultancies in other European countries.
 
Swedish born Malin Cunningham explains, “By extending our services beyond the British shores, we believe our offering stands out in the market place. We’re not part of a large international network, but have selected independent businesses to help us deliver on the ground, primarily in Europe.
 
“Everybody will agree that with globalisation and the continuing growth of the Internet and social media in particular, there is an increasing call for communications professionals to be able to reach clients’ audiences wherever they are.

“We recognise that the only way of doing this properly is by delivering in a way that is tailored for that particular country or region. We do this very well through our partners.”
