Oil industry jobs site opens Dubai office
OIL and Gas Job Search, the Stockport-based industry jobs site, is opening an office in Dubai in December as it aims to consolidate recent successes in the region.
The Middle East accounts for 20% of total revenues, which increased 55% over the last 12 months to £2.8m.
The past year has also seen big client wins in the region such as ADCO, while long-standing clients like AMEC and Mubadala have helped establish the job site in the area.
Duncan Freer, managing director of Oil and Gas Job Search, said: “The Middle East has always been a key region for us, a place where we have always performed well. So, it was time that we built on our success and ambition with a new office to push forward our profile.”
Oil and Gas Job Search counts over 400,000 registered oil and gas professionals on its database. It has over 300,000 monthly visitors generating some five million page views.
The new office has led to the appointment of Karim Abdellaoui who will head up business development in the region.
Freer added: “We have achieved terrific success in the Middle East. It is a business culture we understand and work well in. The new Dubai office is testament to our past successes and our commitment to have the region at the core of our business strategy and growth.”
