Cartwright Group chairman dies

ALAN Cartwright, the chairman of Altrincham-based trailer maker Cartwright Group, has died.

Mr Cartwright passed away earlier this month.

A statement by the company said: “It is with great regret that we announce the death of Alan Cartwright, our chairman, brother, father and uncle.  

“He was a dedicated family and business man, devoting 59 years to building a business.

“His hard work, inspiration, innovation and guidance over this time, working together with Peter, then John, Steven and Mark, has made the Cartwright Group into the company that you all know today.”
