Protime WFM establishes first UK presence at MSP

SOFTWARE company Protime WFM has established its first British offices in Manchester Science Park.
The company specialises in software which helps firms manage their workforce and also monitor time-keeping.
It has now taken space in MSP’s Manchester International Innovation Centre (MIIC) after working with UK Trade and Investment and Manchester’s inward investment agency, MIDAS.
Protime was founded in 1995 and now has offices in Belgium, Holland and France, employing around 110 staff.
It hopes that its new British offices will help it to grow 12% yearly.
The UK office will be lead by business unit director, Stephen Coetzer.
Mr Coetzer said: “Over the past 15 years, Protime has built up a strong presence in the UK market through a partner network with our product suite already installed in over 250 sites across the UK.
“We develop all our own software so with the demand for our product suite already clearly established, it makes sense for us to market it direct to the UK market with the addition of our own full consultancy and support service.
“Our customers are also getting the most cost effective solution, paying only for what they use without any mark-ups from partner organisations.”
Protime managing partner, Peter s’Jongers said: “When deciding where to locate in the UK we worked with UKTI and were very impressed with growth of the innovation economy in the North West and the fact that Manchester is considered to have the second fastest growing IT sector outside London.
“We then worked with MIDAS to find suitable office space and found MSP’s soft landing facility at the MIIC to be the obvious choice due to its location, excellent management team and range of business development services geared towards making our introduction to the UK and North West business community as smooth as possible.
“We are keen to explore possible collaborations with other msp tenants and benefit from its wide business network.”
