Man City strengthens Abu Dhabi links

MANCHESTER City Football Club has revealed another major sponsorship deal with Abu Dhabi – the homeland of owner Sheikh Mansour.
The club – which is just beginning a massive investment programme at the City of Manchester Stadium – has signed a deal with the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority.
The three-year partnership gives ADTA exclusive naming rights to the club’s Carrington training ground and branding on perimeter advertising boards around the ground at every home league and domestic cup game.
ADTA is Manchester City’s fifth global partner and joins Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the UAE, sportswear brand Umbro, telecoms firm Etisalat and engineering company Ferrostaal.
Garry Cook, chief executive of the club said: “ADTA joins our family of partners who are recognised as world leaders in their respective fields, from aviation, communication, construction, retail and now tourism. The addition of ADTA will once again put the City brand in the world spotlight.”
