MANCHESTER Business School is to open a dedicated campus in Florida, making it the only UK Business School accredited to teach in the US.

MANCHESTER Business School is to open a dedicated campus in Florida, making it the only UK Business School accredited to teach in the US.

The MBS Americas Centre in Miami will offer MBS’ Global part-time MBA programme to an initial intake of thirty students this September.

MBS said it aims to grow the campus to provide places 600 students within the next three years.

Professor Michael Luger, dean of Manchester Business School, said: “The launch of the MBS Americas Centre in Miami is an exciting development for the school – giving us a presence in one of the most important business locations in the world and provides students in the Americas who seek a world-class MBA, access to a truly global programme.”

Nigel Banister, MBS’ chief global officer said: “Our location in Miami gives Florida a truly global, highly ranked business school. Miami is already a major American commercial hub with a catchment area for recruitment that stretches from South Central America, the Caribbean, to the Middle Atlantic, South East, and South West regions of the USA.”
