Pro Manchester pledges support for green bank bid

PROFESSIONAL services organisation Pro.Manchester has formally pledged its support for the campaign to bring the Green Investment Bank to Manchester.

The bid, which is being led by the organisation’s own chief executive, John Ashcroft, confirmed their support at its December board meeting.

Mr Ashcroft said: “The organisation represents the city’s financial and professional ecosystem, people who will advise on and work with the Green Investment Bank should it come to Manchester. “They see the opportunities that this will bring and more importantly, see that Manchester is unrivalled as a prospective location.”
