Enegi restarts workover at Canadian well

ENEGI Oil has completed site preparations ahead of the final stages of the workover at its most advanced project – the Garden Hill South well in Newfoundland, Canada.
The Manchester-based company said that it has been notified by contractor Schlumberger that it will have personnel on site this week ready to start the programme.
The project has suffered from delays resulting from a dispute with its former farm-in partner, which had led to their agreement being terminated.
Last month, when announcing a widening of pre-tax losses of £1.5m for the year to June 30, 2011, chairman Alan Minty said that progressing the well on its own would “generate significant added value for shareholders” in the long term.
