InnTheBar invests £150,000 in new premises

A BAR chain based in Wigan has announced that it intends to invest £150,000 in refurbishing its 15th premises.

InnTheBar intends to revamp The Cross Keys pub in Bolton Road in Ashton-in-Makerfield and then relaunch the venue as Number Fifteen.

The first phase of the development will start in July and is expected to finish soon thereafter.

The next phase of the development will create bed and breakfast accommodation upstairs.

Tony Callaghan, of InnTheBar, said: “We’re going to broaden the customer base, broaden opening hours, and broaden the potential for Number Fifteen to become the best bar in Ashton-in- Makerfield.

“There’s definitely a shortage of venues for the discerning in the area, and we intend to address that.

“We already have a Number Fifteen with accommodation in Swinley, in Wigan.”

The Innthebar chain caters for people wanting morning coffee and pastries through to late-night partygoers.
