NORTH West green power company ENER-G has increased its footprint in Easter Europe after signing a partnership deal with an engineering company in Latvia.

The Salford firm already has links in Hungary, Poland, Romania and Lithuania, and has now added Vega 1 to its Cogen Partners network.

Cogen Partners delivers small-scale combined heat and power (CHP)  solutions. The deal gives Vega 1 access to the full range of ENER-G’s CHP systems and next generation Micro CHP systems.

Cogeneration technology is not yet widely known in Latvia so the partnership deal with Vega 1 represents a powerful growth opportunity in a fresh geographic market.

Alan Barlow, who head’s ENER-G’s Combined Power business said: “Our agreement with Vega 1 underlines our commitment to expand our offerings throughout the world.

“Our combination of in-house technology, expertise and services, means we are a single port of call for any business seeking proven cogeneration performance.”
