Cash machine deal saves jobs

THE Manchester office of Baker Tilly has completed the sale of a cash machine business in a deal that will secure 57 jobs.
Rotherham-based CTS has been acquired by New Wave ATM Installations, a Leeds-based subsidiary of cash machine operator Bank Machine.
The deal was arranged by administrators Lindsey Cooper and Russell Cash, from Baker Tilly.
Mrs Cooper said: “We are extremely pleased to have concluded the sale of the CTS business, preserving all 57 jobs and the associated experience and expertise held within this established business.
“CTS has an excellent reputation and it is because of this that it has been acquired by a company positioned to refocus and further develop its service and its people in line with the challenging requirements of the ATM market.”
CTS was launched in 1996 and had struggled with its cost base before being hit by a winding up petition from HMRC in December.
