Cresta Court bought in pre-pack

AN Altrincham hotel has been bought out of administration in a pre-pack deal.

Cresta Court Hotel, which holds a Best Western franchise, went into administration on July 8 and was bought on the same day by Harrop Hotels, a company owned by Graeme Elliott.

According to records at Companies House Harrop Hotels was incorporated last month.

A spokesman for administrators Zolfo Cooper confirmed the deal but could give no further information.

Cresta Court is a 140-bedroom hotel in Church Street with conference facilities for 300 delegates.

Public records show director Paul Hindley held a controlling stake in the business when it went into administration. Mr Elliott could not be reached for comment.
