Rosewood expands with Heswall acquisition

A WIRRAL care home has changed hands in a £1.7m deal funded by The Royal Bank of Scotland’s healthcare team.
Warrington-based care home operator Rosewood Healthcare has acquired its third home in the region with the purchase of Fairfield Nursing Home in Heswall, Merseyside.
Established in 1989, Fairfield is a 29-bedroom care home which provides long and short term residential care facilities.
Rosewood, which has other homes in Manchester and Wigan, provides facilities for more than 100 people and employs 95 staff.
Rosewood’s George Khanijau said: “Fairfield is a well managed and maintained home that has an excellent reputation on the Wirral. Our strategy has been to grow our portfolio by acquiring good quality homes and this certainly fits that criteria. We are very pleased to have completed this transaction.”
Gary Swift, RBS’s relationship director, said: “George and his colleagues at Rosewood have successfully delivered care facilities for more than 10 years. They know the market well and we are happy to support their latest acquisition.”
