Energetix gains US patent for Genlec boiler

ENERGETIX Group, the Chester-based company which has developed a range of energy efficient products, has announced that it has gained a US patent for a key part of the process in its Kingston microCHP boiler range developed by subsidiary Genlec.

It said the patent, titled “Closed Cycle Heat Transfer Device and Method”, builds on its intellectual property portfolio and provides additional protection for its core product platform. It has now gained patents in 32 countries which protect the working of its microCHP boiler, and said it has several other applications in progress.

Energetix Group CEO Adrian Hutchings said: “Energetix Group has its foundations rooted in strong intellectual property, including patents, know-how and trademarks. This notice of allowance provides yet further protection for our technology and creates value for the company.”
