Fresh boost for pro.manchester conference
PRO.Manchester’s second major business conference has received fresh backing from the corporate sector.
The region’s Big Four accounting and business advisory firms have signed a joint sponsorship deal for the event at the Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club on March 1.
The event will hear from big-hitting Goldman Sachs economist Jim O’Neill, Peter Marks, chief executive of the Co-operative Group, Angela Knight from the British Banking Association and Professor David Miles from the Bank of England.
For the second year the event will be hosted by Newsnight duo Gavin Esler and Kirsty Wark.
