Swinton to create 120 call centre jobs in Manchester

SWINTON Insurance is set to create 120 jobs at a new call centre in Manchester city centre.

The call centre will be based in Bridgewater House and follows a deal with vehicle information expert HPI. Swinton will supply HPI’s network of 4,500 car dealerships with free 7-day driveaway insurance.

Staff at the centre will also work with Swinton’s large panel of insurers to find competitive deals and prices for annual policies.

The firm said the jobs include inbound and outbound sales roles including team leader positions. It is offering full training to staff and will embark on conducting interviews in the week commencing March 26 ahead of the centre’s launch date in June.

Operations director Kelly Ogley said: “2012 has got off to a positive start for Swinton.

“To meet demand for the sales of these new products, Swinton is able to offer new jobs in an employment market that is currently flat.”
