Victrex lures general counsel from Speedy

CORPORATE lawyer Suzana Koncarevic has been appointed as general counsel and Company Secretary at Victrex, the Lancashire-based polymers group.

She will join the company on April16 and succeed Gary Hulme, who is stepping down in order to pursue other business opportunities.  

Prior to joining Victrex, she carried out the same roles at Haydock-based Speedy Hire plc and senior legal adviser at United Utilities. She has worked as a corporate lawyer at Herbert Smith in London and at DLA Phillips Fox in Sydney, Australia.

Anita Frew, Chairman of Victrex, said: “I am delighted that Suzana is joining Victrex. Her breadth of experience will be an asset to us and will contribute significantly to the senior management team and our continued focus on corporate governance.
