Logistics firm hits the buffers
A NATIONWIDE logistics group with a large depot in Warrington has entered administration.
DBC Foodservice, which operates from 12 sites around the UK including the Midlands and Yorkshire, has appointed Baker Tilly to handle its affairs.
The group distributes daily to the UK’s largest, national public and private sector accounts and counts food and drink firms such as Cadbury and Britvic among its customers.
The company is understood to have been struggling for some time and was put up for sale last week after its credit insurers withdrew cover.
