Regenda hands over seven new schemes

NORTH West social housing group Regenda has invested over £9m in new properties across the region, which have all recently been handed over to residents.
The final handover – an apartment complex in Merseyside – takes place this month, marking the seventh new development successfully completed from March this year.
In total, it has delivered 68 new homes across including two developments in Wyre where £3.8m has been spent on 24 homes at Fleetwood and Thornton Cleveleys.
Over £2.7m was spent on 22 homes at Oldham and Rochdale in Greater Manchester, while £2.5m was spent on developments in Merseyside including 19 homes at Rock Ferry on the Wirral and three new apartments at Atherton House in Newton-le-Willows.
Regenda was created from the merger of Liverpool-based Maritime Housing, Macclesfield-based Templar Housing, Oldham-based West Pennine Housing Association and Wyre Housing Association. It now has more than 13,000 properties under its control and assets of over £439m. It also employs over 400 people.
Group chief executive Bernard Gallagher said: “It’s been an extremely busy time for our development team, with seven different schemes now handed over to their new residents.
“The schemes not only represent more than £9m in investment, but a fresh start in brand new homes for 68 families and individuals.”
