Appointments: Neil Myerson adds four & more

ALTRINCHAM law firm Neil Myerson has boosted its ranks with four appointments, including former Linder Myers partner Andrew Brown.
Mr Brown has joined Neil Myerson’s corporate department as a senior solicitor, while solicitors Claire Critchley and Philip Ball and trainee Rachel Lee have also joined the firm in recent weeks.
Claire Critchley specialises in commercial and insolvency-related litigation and Mr Ball in commercial law.
Managing partner Carl Newton said: “To keep pace with the expansion of our commercial client base these appointments further increase the
firm’s strength in depth.
“More and more mid-sized and large businesses and in-house counsel, who traditionally use more expensive city centre lawyers, are now instructing us as a credible out-of-town alternative.”

COMMERCIAL law firm Heatons has appointed David Leviten as a partner in its real estate team.
A graduate in civil engineering, he joins Manchester-based Heatons from city centre rival Pannone.

SHIRE Leasing, which provides funding for equipment leasing and asset finance, has appointed Julian Parry as sales manager for the North West.
Mr Parry, a keen dinghy racer and kart driver, said: “Many businesses are finding their access to working capital being compromised by banks being reticent to lend. Shire Leasing provides an effective alternative for asset acquisition independent from bank facilities.”
