Irish delegation visits Manchester

ENTERPRISE Europe Network, the EC-funded organisation set up to improve small business links across Europe, is to host a delegation of Irish businesses in Manchester this week.

A two-day visit will take place on Wednesday (May 30) and Thursday (31) at Trafford Park and Manchester city centre respectively. The visit has been organised in collaboration with both Greater Manchester and Dublin Chambers of Commerce, MIDAS and UK Trade & Investment.

David Wright, European business adviser at EEN, said: “Ireland is a major trading partner for the UK. It’s very accessible and relatively inexpensive to visit. Ireland offers great opportunities for companies seeking new markets, having a similar regulatory and legal framework to our own.”
