Energetix agrees new software deal

ENERGETIX Group has said that it has entered into a new software and services agreement as part of its plan to create a new energy supply company.
The Chester-based group has previously announced a plan to create a new energy supply company known as Kingston Energy, which could provide its new Kingston microCHP boilers free of charge in return for customers agreeing to purchase gas and electricity from the firm for a fixed period.
Its latest deal has also seen it add the Gentrack Velocity billing and customer relationship management software, Gentrack Velocity, to the proposed business.
Tony Stiff, CEO of Kingston Energy, said, “It is very important that we have world-class systems to deliver excellent customer service. We have been very impressed with Gentrack during the selection process and look forward to implementing the software with them over the coming months.”
Gentrack CEO James Docking said: “We are excited by this opportunity to support the growth plans of Energetix with our CRM and billing software, which has been specifically designed for modern energy and water companies.”
