Law firms toast national success

LAW firms Squire Sanders and Pannone are celebrating success on a national level.

Squire Sanders has received an award for its pensions advisory work, while Pannone has been honoured for its excellence in staff training.

Squire Sanders’ pensions team’s honour was announced in London last week, where it was named“Pensions Law Firm 2012”  in the Pension and Investment Provider Awards.
 
Charmian Johnson, a partner at Squire Sanders’ Manchester office and part of a team of seven in the city said: “We’re delighted with the award and with the fact that our work for clients and our efforts to innovate and invest continue to attract external recognition of this kind.

“Ours is a practice that doesn’t sit still – we look for every opportunity to improve client service and grow and build as a team. This has been a real team effort.”  

Separately Pannone scoped the award for Best Trainer – national/large regional firm – at the LawCareers.Net Training & Recruitment Awards 2012.   

The awards, which recognised the best recruiters and trainers among law firms, were based on a large survey of over 2,300 trainee and newly qualified solicitors.

Managing Partner Emma Holt said: “We are delighted to receive this award which reinforces our commitment and dedication to training and developing our staff which is at the heart of the Pannone ethos.”
