Appointments: Brabners’ IT chief; Heatons & more

BRABNERS Chaffe Street, the law firm with offices in Liverpool, Manchester and Preston, has appointed David Griffiths as IT director.
Mr Griffiths joins the firm from Manchester firm Pannone where he was head of IT and previously worked for Weightmans.
At Brabners Chaffe Street, David will manage a team of seven IT specialists and is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm’s IT strategy.
Managing partner Mark Brandwood said: “David possesses in-depth knowledge of legal business processes, technologies and systems, combined with a thorough understanding of the issues facing the profession from both a client and firm perspective.

MANCHESTER corporate and commercial law firm Heatons has boosted its real estate team with the appointment of Stephen Evans-Jones as a partner.
Mr Evans-Jones joins from Cantor Law and specialises inreal estate finance. He said: “Heatons is a dynamic firm focused on developing long term relationships with its clients.
“I am looking forward to playing my part in the ongoing success of the real estate department and the firm as a whole.”
He is the third new partner arrivalin recent months and follows intellectual property specialist Bill Lister and real estate lawyer David Leviten.
