Software firm signs trio of US deals

SERVICEPOWER technologies, the Stockport-based company which produces software to manage field staff, has landed three new contracts in North America.

Its ServiceOperations arm has sold a software-as-a-service platform to three companies – ESI International, Funai Service Corporation and Haier.

All three firms supply electronics and appliances. ESI will use the platform to help deliver an extended contract with the US Army and Air Force Exchange (AAFES) that operates military bases around the world. ServicePower’s deal covers administrative support to AAFES personnel in the UK, Europe and Asia.

Japanese headquartered firm Funai will use it to dispatch product repair work to service companies around North America and Haier will use it to handle repairs, warranty claims processing and warranty payments in North America.

ServicePower CEO Mark Duffin said: “These contracts add to the growing numbers of electronics businesses using our ServiceOperations platform to increase their service reach in a cost-effective and efficient manner.”
