Bentley’s Russia sales drive

CREWE-based luxury car manufacturer Bentley Motors is ramping-up its sales efforts in Russia – one of its fastest growing and important markets.

Bentley has created a new exclusive sales company called Bentley Russia, which it says reflects its plans to strengthen and expand its presence in the Russian market.

Guenter Behringer, head of Moscow-based Bentley Russia said: “”We believe that there are major opportunities for Bentley to expand our market and increase sales in Russia.

“For us, it’s important that we maintain the loyalty of existing clients and, of course, attract new ones and that is partly about expanding our regional presence.”

Bentley’s two official dealers in Moscow and Saint Petersburg continue their current successful operation with partner Mercury.

Bentley’s 2011 sales in Russia surged 45%, making the brand the best-selling luxury car there.

The company will be showcasing at the Moscow Motorshow from August 30 to September 9 with the new Continental GT V8 and the Mulsanne, among the cars presented on stand.
