Daisy gets Government call

DAISY Group has won a two-year position on a Public Services framework agreement for telecoms supplies.

The organisation is one of 14 which has been chosen to deliver communications services through the Government’s Public Services Network (PSN) programme.

Services it will offer under the agreement include traditional and IP-based voice services, internet services, hosting, co-location, audio conferencing and system maintenance.

The two-year deal also has two extra one-year extension options.

Daisy Group CEO Matthew Riley said: “We are delighted to have been successful in gaining a place on the PSN Services framework for the next two years.

“This not only gives Daisy Group the opportunity to be one of only a small number of companies tendering for a significant pool of contracts, but also illustrates that the services we provide meet the standards that the PSN sets.

“We look forward to being an integral part of the Government’s drive to reduce costs and revolutionise the way in which the Public Services accesses ICT services.”
